“We are excited to partner with the Pope and Young Club, combining our efforts in educating today’s youth in becoming future Bowhunters,” said Jason Perryman, RAFD Outreach Program/Tournament Director. "Archery and hunting is a big part of my life,” added Jason's daughter, Megan. “It's a lot of fun going to camp and enjoying the outdoors with kids my age.”
Raised at Full Draw (Bowhunting camps) is a non-profit organization designed to promote archery, hunting, and outdoor education. The goal of these camps is to pass knowledge and techniques on to the next generation and allow them an opportunity to learn in a safe, hands-on environment. An environment where they get to practice the skills being taught immediately. There will also be a focus on how to hunt responsibly, effectively and learn all of the other attributes of ethics morals and values that come along with spending time outdoors. We want kids to exit camp as skilled archers, but more importantly, we want them to leave with an appreciation for hunting and the outdoors as a whole.
The Raised at Full Mini Camp will offer a condensed version of the popular 4-Day Camps. It will teach proper shot placement and retrieval of game and will also expose the youth to various hunting methods that will allow them to become better hunters. The RAFD educational curriculum is proven to give students the best up-to-date information they need to grow into ethical hunters.
