Pope and Young Announces Nick Hoffman as 2020 Convention Keynote Speaker

Pope and Young Club is proud to announce Nick Hoffman as the keynote speaker for the annual convention in Chantilly, Virginia, March 26-28. Nick grew up in Northern Minnesota, and although he did not grow up hunting, he always felt called to the outdoors and a love of music. Nick started playing the fiddle at the age of 4 and went on his first hunt when he was 13.

“It’s a unique honor to be invited to speak for the Pope and Young Club convention,” said Nick Hoffman. “As a hunter who focuses a lot of my energy on conservation-related causes, I am a big believer in the work that P&Y does. As flag-waving Minnesotan, I'm proud that Pope and Young is based in my home state.  This will be FUN!”

As a resident of Nashville, Nick is currently filming his 5th season of “Nick’s Wild Ride,” a top-rated show and winner of 10 Telly awards. At a time when hunting lands and rights are under attack at home and abroad, Nick uses his travels to spread the conservation message in a way that is energizing to younger hunters and palatable to non-hunters. This led to “Nick’s Wild Ride” being awarded “BEST CONSERVATION” at the 2018 Outdoor Sportsman Awards. Nick was also named the winner of The Country Music Association’s award for “Touring Musician of the Year,” and has shared the stage with music’s biggest names including; Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Trace Adkins, Steve Miller, Brooks & Dunn and many more.

“Having Nick Hoffman as our guest speaker for the annual convention in Virginia is fantastic,” said Jack Culpepper, P&Y Board Member.  “As a hunter, T.V. personality, and musician, we get three times the fun! I can’t wait to meet him in Virginia.”

The Pope and Young Club convention will also feature the Bass Pro/Cabela’s “Trophy Tower,” the largest display of World Record, North American bow harvested, big-game animals ever assembled. The finest outfitters from around the globe, bows, gear, art, and historic bowhunting items. Check out the Live Auction, historical tours, 3-D shoot, P&Y Challenge race, incredible seminars, live entertainment, and fantastic speakers. Experience the camaraderie and bowhunting passion shared by some of the greatest bowhunters of our time! Make plans to join us at the 2020 P&Y convention.

"Like many, my view of the Pope and Young Club was one of its capacity as a Recordkeeping institution. After talking with members at the Pope and Young Rendezvous in Poynette Wisconsin in 2016, it was apparent that I had a lot to learn about Pope and Young as a CONSERVATION organization. The Pope and Young membership and administrative personnel are one of the most unified voices in Conservation. They work tirelessly to preserve the bowhunting and archery lifestyles we all enjoy. Their commitment"
Blake Davis, Sales Manager, Xpedition Archery
"Lumenok is thrilled to be partnered with the Pope and Young Club. Their commitment to protecting the future of bowhunting and promoting the conservation of habitat and wildlife is unparalleled and we, at Lumenok, are proud to be a part of that."
