Pope and Young, America’s leading bowhunting conservation organization, successfully wrapped up the first Inter-Mountain Bowhunter Bash in Ogden, UT at the Bakcou Center - Weber County Archery Park, the first annual event featured activities for the entire family, including an interactive field day, the inaugural Field Judging Championship, silent auctions, raffles, BBQ, a live auction, and even the unveiling of a brand new Bakcou Bike. 

“With incredible vendors, we had an awesome time at our field day. We had bikes to ride, bows to shoot, optics to try out, shoes to try out, apparel to purchase, and even a physical therapist to visit with! We want to give a special thanks to each and every vendor that came out and spent the day with us,” stated Director of Marketing, Dylan Ray.  “Bakcou also unveiled their brand new fully electric dirt bike that was the star of the show.  We had the opportunity to auction of the ONLY one in existence, raising funds for bowhunting conservation, and making the evening’s auction something very special. 



People had a chance to head inside and take a run at field judging five different animals in our Inaugural Field Judging Championship. Moving to five different optic platforms with time spent field judging an animal from each station, folks had a chance to prove they are the best at field judging animals. Rent Outdoor Gear, our title sponsor of the Championship, set up some of the best optics in the industry for participants to use and experience as the scored animals from afar.

The evening festivities shaped up nicely with some very good BBQ and numerous opportunities to win.  The silent auctions and raffles offered incredible products such as Garmin watches, bows of all kinds, historical Pope and Young products and much more.  The live auction featured hunts ranging from a brown bear and black bear combo hunt with Perrin’s Rainy Pass Lodge, Africa hunts, Argentina hunts, a moose hunt with Big Knife Outfitters, blacktail hunts, mule deer hunts, and of course the very first Bakcou Puma Electric Dirt Bike.
